Simmer Style Maui Hawaii

MissionX 2009

Way back in the day when Klaus and Malte were busy shredding Ho'okipa Beach Park, today's materials were simply not available. So, for these guys who were sailing on the edge of what's considered sane, x-ply would have been a blessing.

If you take a good tumble every now and then, or your sailing area consists of reef, rocks, or other not so sail friendly features, you're covered with Mission X.

It's full x-ply body and PVC window provide the of defense against harsh environments.

It is the ultimate wave sail for the ultimate wave sailor.

Characteristics

Mission X is the same design as Mission, but is made from different materials. Mission X has a full x-ply body and a clear pvc window intended to endure severe beatings. This sail will make it through anything you can. Perhaps beyond!

-Same cut as Mission, with the extra toughness of full X-Ply Construction
-PVC Window
-Performance and Handling, with the toughest materials available.

Kai "Flykatcher" Katchadourian (US-33) speaks up about Mission and Mission X:
"Simmer is on a Mission for 2009! Our riders at Simmer stop at nothing, and neither will our designer, Tomas Persson. New for 2009 are the Mission and Mission X wave sails. This is the sail of choice for the dedicated wave sailor. Our riders at Ho'okipa immediately took to this blend of power and handling. Go ahead and hit the lip as late as possible, sky all your jumps with full control, and if you happen to end up swimming for your rig, have the confidence that it will be intact and ready for more if you are!"
