High performance down the line wave sail in an xply monofilm construction
This sail is designed to excel in side shore and side off shore wind conditions.
The Mission is a handling oriented wave sail designed with low end power while going quickly neutral when depowering.
The Mission has the best visibility of our wave sails. With its monofilm window, you see the entire wave at all points of sail enabling you to pick you points of attack easily.
With the all xply body, Kevlar reinforcements, and thick gauge monofilm, the Mission is designed to last in extreme conditions.
CONSTRUCTION and DESIGN
The Mission is a higher aspect ratio sail with slightly longer mast and more handling oriented shorter boom length. This combo is designed for fingertip control of the Mission. Power is located more in the front end and higher in the sail body for stability and quick depowering.
Horizontal shaping on the lower two battens of the Mission makes for a constant sail profile, keeping the power stable and true. Combine this with the vertical shape on the three higher battens, which makes for a "bladey", easy to handle, upper portion of the sail. Utilizing both types of shaping give the Mission unparallel performance.
All X-Ply upper body for maximum durability.
Thick gauge monofilm central body paneling gives a crisp and direct feel, and clear visibility.
Symmetric batten pockets. A major technical advancement in sail design. Creating the perfect aerodynamic symmetry on both tacks of the sails.
Kevlar stretch control tendons prevent sail distortion and increases the Missions wind range. Stretch control tendons also improve sail durability by virtually eliminating sail deformation. Stretch control tendons result in more controlled power over a broader spectrum of wind, as sail foil stays true.
NEW FOR 2010
Symmetric battens pocket. Stronger and lighter symmetrical batten pockets provides a perfect aerodynamic symmetry on both tacks of the sails.
Reduced mast curve for a softer feel.
Less body shape above the boom.
Repositioned shape slightly forward, which gives the same sail profile, but with the advantage of a livelier character.
Visible kevlar in stretch control tendons.

MISSION 2010
MissionX 2010
High performance down the line wave sail in an all xply, construction.
X-Ply body paneling plus 'ever-clear' PVC window create a side to side-offshore surf sail with a smooth feel and the best durability of any sail in our collection. 'Pump-ability', focused power point, and quickly neutral handling characteristics, make the MISSION X the sail of choice for riders looking for top performance and the highest level of durability.
The Mission X is a handling oriented wave sail with direct and responsive feel. It has a light 'sailing weight' feel, and is extremely forgiving.
Superb ability to de-power in the critical moments of a maneuver.
Crystal clear visibility through PVC window.
Absolute highest technology in materials, manufacture and construction.
Bullet proof all X-Ply construction, built for serious abuse.
CONSTRUCTION and DESIGN
Same cut as the Mission, with the extra toughness of a full X-Ply construction the Mission X is a higher aspect ratio sail with slightly longer mast and more handling oriented shorter boom length. This combo is designed for fingertip control of the Mission. Power is located more in the front end and higher in the sail body for stability and quick depowering.

Combine this with the vertical shape on the three higher battens, which makes for a "bladey", easy to handle, upper portion of the sail. Utilizing both types of shaping give the Mission unparallel performance.
The Mission X also features a bullet proof PVC window.
Kevlar perimeter; with low stretch, and long life material for the main panels. Puts strength where you need it.
Symmetric batten pockets. A major technical advancement in sail design. Creating a perfect aerodynamic symmetry on both tacks of the sails.
