Simmer Sails Maui Hawaii

2010 Simmer Sails are here!

2010 Simmer Sails are now available!
The new 2010’s feel amazing…. Check this, all sails feel like they have more ‘shape’. They look like it too. You can see the sails have more profile. 2010 sails ride very stable, and easy. Under way, on a held course, it’s really relaxing. The sails (and new Simmer masts and booms) do all the work. You don’t have to trim a lot, you just ride. What’s more amazing than that? With the newer more stable feel, the 2010’s depower MORE easily! How’s that?! Give a sail more stability for easier handling better range, and make it more easily neutral, depowering like a dream, and again, making for easier handling….. Got love it…. It just keeps getting better!

Changes to 2010 models include:

Batten pockets now in the center of the sail body creating a symmetrical foil for unparalleled performance. Formerly, sails had batten pockets stitched on the starboard tack. Now, sails have battens ideally situated in the center of the sail body making for a sail that is more balanced, lighter, and has a truer foil shape on both tacks and all points of sail.

Slight reduction in luff curve for a softer, more forgiving and user friendly feel to all 2010 Simmer sails.

Small changes to draft placement and sail shaping moving the draft a bit more forward and down. This results in similar low end and top end range with easier handling characteristics.

The newest Simmer Sails are extremely easy to handle in a broad spectrum of wind and are very 'rig friendly'. Meaning there is a wide range of downhaul and outhaul settings that the sail will work within. Individual sailor preferences determine the ultimate tuning for each sail.

Simmer Sails are the most durable well-built sails in the world.
Our sails out perform all others.

Incremental adjustments to boom and luff lengths on all 2010 models help to improve the range of all our Simmer Sails.

Simmer Sails have the best materials and finishings in the industry.

I've sailed a lot of booms in my day, but the new Simmer All Carbon Booms are better than any…

Smaller diameter boom arms for more comfort and strength
Easy to use, well engineered boom head that goes direct on an RDM.
Easy to use rear-end with double pin system for durability and security.
Durable and comfortable boom grip
I wish I had more in stock, at the rate they have been selling, I will be out of stock soon!
At 699.00 per boom, they are a great value.

Masts:
100% carbon RDM, 370 400 and 430

What a mast! Our new 100% carbon masts are soon to be industry standard. A few ‘secret’ construction techniques enable this mast to bend 30% more than 85% carbon Powerex Masts before breaking. Going into our second season of testing, and first major round of production, we have had a ZERO failure rate. Now that’s impressive! One reason is the ingenious feral design. Simmer masts have a feral that is secured with a silicon based compound, which allows the feral to ‘float’ slightly under extreme load. This results in more bending of the mast, less point loading at the feral, and less breakage. The 100% carbon reacts EXTREMELY fast, giving all our sails a more lively feel….

Combine the All Carbon Simmer boom, with the 100% carbon RDM Simmer Mast, rig up your new 2010 sail and go shred. You’ve never had a ride like this, guaranteed!

We continue to refine are already outstanding lineup of top wavesails. Mission X, Mission, and Icon outperform, and outlast, all others. Now integrated with Simmer components making for superior performance and an unparalleled sailing experience.

Get yourself some new gear... if not now, WHEN!?
